Transcript: You have attended in person a regionally accredited college or university in the United States and meet one of the following conditions: earned a bachelor’s degree or higher in the U.S. (Official Transcripts Required), OR completed at least 12 credit hours of graduate course work with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or higher (all credits must be earned in the U.S. and official transcripts must be mailed to ASU) OR completed at least 90 credit hours of undergraduate course work with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or higher (all 90 hours must be earned in the U.S. and official transcripts must be mailed to ASU) Personal Statement: Statement of Purpose Recommendation Letter: Three letters of recommendation Portfolio: Portfolio documents can include both academic and professional writing for a range of audiences and purposes and need not be in the area of technical communication. The portfolio should be 15 to 30 pages in length. The writing samples in the portfolio will be evaluated using a rubric that considers several criteria, including a demonstration of the ability to focus on a specific purpose and to meet audience needs and show organization, clarity, mechanical soundness and overall effectiveness.
