Transcript: Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work. This includes community college courses in American government and statistics (program prerequisites). Official transcripts are defined as those transcripts that are sent by a college/university Registrar's Office and not handled by the student. Only paper transcripts are accepted, no electronic transcripts may be used. ASU graduates are not required to transmit transcripts. Forest Avenue, #SSV112 Tempe, AZ 85287-0112 Curriculum Vitae: Resume Personal Statement: Written statement of your educational and career goals and how the MPA/MPP degree will help you reach those goals. 1 – 2 pages in length, single-spaced. This statement will also be used as a sample of your writing skills. Recommendation Letter: Three letters of recommendation from academic (faculty) and/or professional (work-related) sources. Academic sources are preferred, but professional sources are acceptable. When completing the application, you will list the names and email addresses of three "recommenders," who will be contacted via email by ASU and given instructions to submit their letter of recommendation online. It is recommended you contact your recommenders in advance to alert them of a future email from ASU and ask them to complete their letter of recommendation within 1-2 weeks of receiving the email.
