Transcript: Transcripts for law degree and undergraduate degree(s)-unofficial copies may be sent by email but if an offer of admission is extended on the basis of unofficial transcripts, final official transcripts must be submitted prior to registration in the program. Curriculum Vitae: A curriculum vitae is required. Personal Statement: Statement of Research Interests & Autobiographical Sketch (a fillable form, available for download from the LLM website: http://www.uwindsor.ca/law/583/apply-graduate-llm-program) indicating, among other things: a. how the applicant demonstrates the skills of application, knowledge, reasoning ability and communication outlined in the LLM Admission Requirements; b. why the applicant believes that their work fits with Windsor Law School’s themes of access to justice and/or transnational law; along with their career goals and reasons for pursuing an LLM at Windsor Law. c. the program stream to which the applicant is applying (regular research thesis stream (one calendar year) or LLM with Certificate in University Teaching and Learning (two calendar years) and how the applicant’s experiences will enable them to successfully complete the stream chosen. Recommendation Letter: Two (2) academic reference letters are required. Research Proposal: A research proposal (2-3 pages; as described in the Statement of Research Interests & Autobiographical Sketch). Writing Sample: An academic writing sample such as a paper written for a course during JD or LLB studies, a prior publication, or other work you have written in an academic context, that demonstrates your writing abilities; preferably written originally in English.
